Her gentle blond curls fell to one shoulder as she looked up with the biggest of blue eyes. A gaping smile and hands clasped to her chest, Nicole couldn’t have been more excited to wear her almost husband’s last name in just a few hours. Mom moved throughout the house, making sure everyone was taken care of. And with subtle glances, she’d look at her baby girl and hold back tears. It was undeniably obvious that every person helping this sweet bride ready herself was completely smitten. With her. With him. With the day.
Alan, being the reliable planner he is, was ready to go. He made sure not a detail was left unassigned and that all the kings men were set, dressed, and ready. One of the many things that is so precious about Alan is the way he cares for Nicole. He is so attentive and intentional in how he makes plans, pays attention to her days, and makes sure he’s lightening the load. With a forecast of thunderstorms, Nicole had prayed and prayed the sun would stay. The clouds drifted pass, and thankfully, she got her dream outdoor ceremony at the Old Daley Inn. When we first heard that they chose this venue because Nicole’s grandparents had their first date there… well, we melted!
